Shell Launches Road Safety For Children In Batangas City
“Keeping safe on the road is important for every one of us, especially children, who were reported to be one of the largest victims of road accidents worldwide. They must be made aware of traffic rules and regulations. Through this first Road Safety Camp for Children here in Batangas, we hope to enhance children’s knowledge on road safety,” Shell Tabangao Refinery General Manager Becky Alivio said.
A total of 160 children ages 5-18 from the neighbouring communities and schools of the Shell Tabangao Refinery participated in the Road Safety Camp of Shell, supported by safety mentors from the Batangas Mountain Bikers Association, Batangas City Transport Development, Regulation Office (TDRO), the Land Transportation Office (LTO) – Batangas City and Honda Prestige Batangas City.
