SNYACC Recognizes Western Visayas Leg Special Awardees
In the recently concluded Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship Western Visayas Leg, Karen Joy Anoran of West Negros University and Shiela Khan Sepanton of Central Philippine University – Iloilo bagged the ‘Top Female Player’ Award for Kiddies and Juniors division respectively. Anoran scored 7.5 pts while Sepanton finished off with 6 pts.
UST, Don Bosco and Mapua gear up for first Asian version of Shell fuel-efficiency challenge
Hot on the heels of the successful first street run in Houston in late March, over 100 teams, including the Philippines’ University of Santo Tomas, Mapua Institute of Technology, and Don Bosco Technological College, are gearing up for the first-ever Shell Ecomarathon in Asia, to be held at the Sepang F1 race-track in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 8-10.
