SIKAT road show in SM Davao

Sikat, the country's second solar-powered vehicle, travelled to Mindanao after a successful tour across universities in Metro Manila. First stop was Davao, where Sikat was brought to SM City Davao, Ateneo de Davao and the University of Mindanao as a showcase of Filipino ingenuity and the country's capacity to excel at harnessing solar technology.

Shell staff in Mindanao joined the Sikat roadshow in SM City Davao last January 23-24, 2009.
Shell Retail District Manager - Visayas Mark Gayon and his family were among the staff who visited Sikat during its two-day display at the mall.
Shell supported the creation of Sinag, the country's first solar car that landed 12th in the World Solar Challenge in Australia in 2007 and Sikat, which will be competing in the same event next year, as part of its commitment to support the development of science and technology in the country.
