Pandacan Depot Services Inc. Launched
One of the commitments in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the three oil companies, the Manila City Mayor, and the Department of Energy was to establish joint operations and management of common, integrated and shared facilities in the Pandacan terminal.
On 15 October 2004, Pandacan Depot Services Inc. (PDSI) was launched to operate the joint and integrated facility of the Pandacan oil depots. The Country Chairmen of Shell, Caltex, and Petron signed the joint venture agreement.
PDSI is directly responsible for managing the 7 days a week / 24 hour operation of the entire terminal that includes receipt, storage, and loading of fuel products, maintenance and engineering of the shared facilities, and the health, safety, security, and environmental concerns of the terminal.
