DOLE, SOPI, DSWD recognise SBSC-Manila for exemplary safety and health milestone

The Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE)-Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) conferred the 2012 Safety Milestone (SMILE) Recognition Award to Shell Business Service Centre (SBSC) Manila for the centre’s commitment and effort in the effective implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices which resulted to No Lost Time Accident for 2011. The award was given recently during the 7th Safety Milestone (Smile) Recognition Programme held at the Pacific Ballroom of The Pan Pacific Manila Hotel.
SBSC-Manila General Manager Noel Duldulao congratulated staff for upholding an exemplary commitment to Goal Zero.
“As we continue to strive to raise safety awareness among our employees, thank you everyone in making SBSC Manila a safe place to work. Let’s continue the hard work to instill a culture of safety that each of SBSC Manila staff can take home and live with 24/7. Congratulations!” he said.
SBSC-Manila also received an Award of Excellence from The Safety Organization of the Philippines Inc. (SOPI) for its exemplary safety and health achievements, while the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSswswwWD)–National Capital Region, also awarded SBSC Manila a Plaque of Appreciation for its generous support to Nayon ng Kabataan, in upgrading the education and information system of the institution for the orphaned and abused children.
