As a third generation retailer, Jenny has been in the fuel business for as long as she can remember. “My grandfather was a Shell distributor; my father operated our first station. I always say I literally grew up in a gasoline station,” she revealed.

It was 1996 when Jenny began her journey as a retailer. Through the years, she has learned the ropes of the business, from ensuring continuous improvement in her sites, to making each person feel valued – whether it’s a customer or one of her staff.

Today, Jenny is a multi-site operator, as she currently manages 11 retail stations for Shell – the biggest cluster of Shell stations around the South Luzon toll way. The 1,000th Shell station along Eton City in Sta. Rosa, Laguna is the newest site entrusted to Jenny and her fuel retail company that operates retail sites for Shell.

“We’re honoured to be with Shell for many years. Sta. Rosa, Laguna is an emerging business, residential, and commercial district and we’re very excited to contribute to the growth of this area,” said Jenny.

Apart from being equipped with smarter infrastructure, Shell Eton stati  on offers innovative and energy efficient products and services that Shell is known for. This includes V-Power Nitro+ fuels, FuelSave products, concept lubricants, and other services.

The station also features a Select Deli2Go store which provides freshly made pastries and high quality coffee, among other delicious and unique products, and deluxe comfort rooms to give motorists a comfortable stopover experience.

“We want to make sure customers leave happy every time they visit. Going forward, we plan to give back to the community through programs that promote health, safety, and the environment,” Jenny shared.

One of the programs is a waste segregation project implemented in the community.  Initiatives such as these are part of Shell’s commitment to make a positive impact in areas where it operates.

Apart from new employment opportunities, new stations also open scholarship grants through the “Gas Mo Bukas Ko (Your Fuel Our Future)” program, and other training programs for staff.

“Excellent customer service is not just about constantly coming up with innovations to continuously improve your site. It’s also about honing your employees, giving them skills and leadership trainings, and opportunities to develop their career with you.”

Located along the Greenfield Parkway, motorists even from as far as Quezon City and other parts of Northern Metro Manila find a convenient stopover by the road at Shell Eton station.

“I choose to gas up at Shell Eton every time because the staff are really accommodating. They really go out of their way to help you. Shell’s fuel products make my car function at peak performance,” said Rey Zamora, an entrepreneur who visits Laguna every week to manage businesses in the area.

“I like going to Shell because aside from being a patron of V-Power fuels, I think Shell Deli2Go is such a welcome treat on the road. I enjoy their freshly made snacks,” shared Annie Junio, a homeowner at one of the nearby subdivisions.

Seeing customers happy and satisfied motivates Jenny further to continue providing the best that Shell has got to offer.

“We’re proud to be operating Shell’s 1,000th retail station and replicate the qualities that motorists have loved about the company. Our volume is growing and we expect this to continue with the developments at Sta. Rosa, which is dubbed the ‘Makati of the South’,” she said.

Shell’s 1,000th retail station marks the company’s strong foothold in the country which it has served for more than 100 years. Shell endeavours to continue powering Filipino motorists through smarter products and cleaner energy, while promoting smarter use, smarter infrastructure, and efficient and innovative technologies which support its “Make the Future” vision of powering progress sustainably. ###
