Shell was one of only 6 companies/brands that received the 2014 PANAta Marketing Effectiveness Awards, which recognised effective communication materials as measured through improved business results, key brand metrics, increased employee satisfaction/well-being, improved business partner relationship, among others.

“We are delighted to be recognised by PANA as this award not only affirms our effective communications programme but also our strong business ethics as a whole. This award is exceptional because we are celebrating our centenary in helping build a nation.  Integrity is key in all our operations and I laud my colleagues in their commitment to uphold personal and business integrity at all times,” said Shell Vice President for Communications Roberto Kanapi.

Other global awards and recognitions of the I Commit Integrity campaign are the following:

  • 49th Anvil Award of Merit in Good Governance for Sustained Public Relations programmes;
  • Finalist in the 2013 Melcrum Strategic Communications Awards under Excellence in Employee Engagement

Last year, Shell companies in the Philippines was among seven companies in the Philippines that received highest ratings in ethical business practices.  The recognition was given by the Makati Business Club (MBC) in cooperation with the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), which established the Integrity Initiative—a private sector-led campaign that aims to strengthen ethical standards in the Philippines.
