Hyundai reaffirms Shell as best Fuels partner for their cars

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) officials led the signing of the memorandum of agreement held recently at Hyundai Alabang. In attendance were Pilipinas Shell President and CEO Cesar Romero, Pilipinas Shell Vice President for Retail Anthony Lawrence Yam, HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, and HARI Senior Vice President for Trade Operations and Development Cluster Numeriano Cortez Jr.

Romero shared how Shell feels honored that, for the past eight years, the two global brands have been collaborating with each other under the same vision to empower progress through more and cleaner energy solutions and smart technologies in vehicles.

“We are very happy that we are able to extend the global partnership with the authorized Philippine distributor of the top Korean automotive company Hyundai,” Romero said.

For her part, Perez-Agudo added that she is confident that, through Shell, they will be able to enrich the journeys of their customers. “We are advocates of sustainability. Our marketing partnership is only the beginning of a much stronger advocacy, as we harness the synergy that will raise the quality of life of Filipinos.”

In addition to the signing ceremony, Shell and Hyundai’s alliance is solidified through various initiatives. A brand-new Hyundai Accent CRDi GL 7AT-DCT (DSL) was awarded to Martin Carlo Parcutela, one of the winners of the recently concluded Shell Win Every Time, All the Time Raffle promo.

Hyundai will also be featuring their newest subcompact SUV, the Kona, in selected Shell stations nationwide. Alongside it will be the all-new Santa Fe, the Veloster, and the Ioniq Hybrid which is the precursor for a fully electric vehicle line-up of Hyundai.

Shell will be supporting Hyundai’s goal of enhancing customer experiences by providing a Shell Welcome Kit with every vehicle purchase. The kit comes with a Shell Motorist Guidebook as well as Shell Fuels and Shell Select and Deli2go gift vouchers to help jumpstart their journeys.
