Shell expects the maximum field of 300 to be filled up early owing to the wide base of players in the premier Visayan city and its nearby towns and provinces. For list-up and inquiries, interested participants may contact Odilon Badilles at (0933) 619-0210 or Alex Dinoy at (0922) 828-8510.

Spicing up this year’s quest is the battle for the lone female berth in both the juniors and kiddies divisions, with the novel format mixing the female players with the boys, and with the top lady finisher advancing to the grand finals.

Meanwhile, the Mindanao elims will have two qualifiers to accommodate the huge number of entries in the region, with SM City Cagayan de Oro to hold the fourth leg on August 2 to 3 and SM City Davao to host the next on August 30 to 31.

The circuit winds up with the Northern Luzon leg on September 13 to 14 at the University of St. Louis in Tuguegarao. The top two finishers and the top female player in each leg will advance to the grand finals on October 11 and 12 at SM Megamall.
