ShellACTS (A Community That Serves)
Shell ACTS’ mission is to empower communities through volunteerism and sustainable energy solutions

Volunteers in Action
On October 18, 2025, the Shell companies in the Philippines: Shell Pilipinas Corporation, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), and Shell Business Operations–Manila together with Solar Hope, Sto. Niño Integrated School, and the local government unit of Sto. Niño, Tanay, Rizal, completed the installation of solar home systems for 70 Dumagat households in Sto. Niño, Rizal.
The initiative marks another milestone in ShellACTS’ mission to empower communities through volunteerism and sustainable energy solutions. This year’s effort follows last year’s distribution of 30 units, reflecting the continued commitment of Shell volunteers to bring light and hope to remote communities.
More than 130 volunteers joined the activity, with over 90 coming from Shell’s officers and employees. Many ShellACTS volunteers from Manila rose as early as 2 a.m., with some coming straight from their night shifts, converging at the Shell Business Operations for final preparations. After a hearty breakfast and a quick logistics check, the team embarked on a two-hour journey to Camp Ines, followed by a 25-minute trek to Sto. Niño Integrated School.
Despite the heavy rain that poured during the activity, the volunteers’ enthusiasm never wavered. The spirit of service and teamwork burned brighter than the weather’s challenges. A short program was held before the installation, highlighting the value of community partnership. Parallel to the main activity, young learners at Sto. Niño Integrated School participated in an engaging session about environmental care and waste segregation, turning learning into fun and awareness.
The event was graced and participated in by Shell Pilipinas Corporation Chairman and CEO Lorelie Quiambao-Osial and PSFI Executive Director Sebastian Quiniones Jr., who both emphasized Shell’s commitment to nation-building through collective efforts in sustainable social progress initiatives and environmental stewardship.
Indeed, the day stood as a living testament to the PSFI spirit of Sama-samang pagtulong, sabay-sabay na pagsulong!
