Fraud and Scam Alert

Shell companies in the Philippines have received reports of fake job offers, business deals, and prize notifications. These are not from Shell. Report scams via our official website.

Stay Alert. Stay Safe. Beware of Scams.

At Shell, protecting the trust and safety of our customers, partners, and communities is a top priority. Unfortunately, we’ve seen an increase in fraudulent activities misusing Shell’s name, logo, and reputation to deceive the public.

These scams come in many forms—fake job offers, raffle and fuel scams, investment schemes, and even bogus supplier contracts. Some impersonate Shell executives or create fake websites, apps, and social media pages to appear legitimate.

If you receive unsolicited messages claiming you’ve won a prize, been selected for a job, or offered a business opportunity—especially if it involves fees, urgent action, or sharing personal information—pause and verify. Scammers often use poor grammar, suspicious links, and inconsistent branding. These are red flags.

✅ Here’s how you can protect yourself:

  • Verify offers through Shell’s official channels.

  • Never share personal or financial information with unverified sources.

  • Don’t click on suspicious links or attachments.

  • Report scams immediately.
