Relief Efforts

In 2020, as COVID spread throughout the the country, Shell put top priority on the health and safety of our people, customers and the community, along with the safe operations of all our businesses.

Aid, Vaccinations and Open Community Pantries

At the height of the lockdowns, Shell Retail stations all over the country doubled as community pantries, where people could take or donate relief items. We collaborated with local government organizations to hold vaccination drives. Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. (PSPC), in partnership with the City of Mandaluyong and Reliance United, launched its vaccination program for staff and dependents. We also provided aid to the community. Roughly 693,000 beneficiaries received aid from the various efforts of Shell’s programs.

Shell GO+ Donation Drive

Members of Shell Go+ were able to extend help to frontline workers from the safety of their homes. By donating their points, cardholders supported “Ani Para Sa Bayani.” This program by the PSFI helped finance a program that supported farmers in transporting and distributing their produce to community kitchens that prepared meals for frontliners.
