Special Citation for Shell’s Waste Management Programme in Pandacan

Shell in the Philippines received a Special Citation Award in the 2013 Zero Basura (Trash) Olympics (ZBO), recognising Shell’s conscientious efforts in behaviour change initiatives on proper waste disposal through its Triple B or ‘Bawas Basura sa Barangay programme.
Triple B is regarded as one of the most effective waste management programmes in Manila, educating residents in Pandacan on the value of recycling for a healthier environment and teaching them how to make a livelihood from effective waste management. The Triple B programme bested 34 entries submitted by top corporations across the Philippines.
